1. What was the main reason for you, to found Hateform?

Tomy: The main reason for putting up this band was to do something of our own, which is raw, tight, aggressive and a little progressive, but not too much. Myself, Joni and Tuomas played in this band called Morbid Dream, but after a couple of incidents, we left to make this band reality.

Tuomas: For a long time, me, Joni and Tomy were tired of the fact that nothing that satisfies us in playing in a band, will not happen in our former band Morbid Dream. There were also some disagreements about the music style what we were playing and other personal things.

2. All of you have previous experience in other bands?

Tomy: Yeah, as i said me, Joni and Tuomas had Morbid Dream, Ville plays in Insomnium (you may know that band...) and our vocalist Petri has a band called Coresh. Of course everyone has been playing in various garage bands and other not so serious projects.

Joni: Me and Ville played together many years ago in a band called Watch Me Fall so it was great to hear that he was coming to play guitar in Hateform. Kind of a re-union to us.

3. From which city in Finland you come from?

Tomy: We are from Turku, on the south coast of Finland

4. Is there a good metal scene there?

Joni: Yeah, i think so. There are very promising bands but because Turku is not such a huge city, sometimes it feels like all of your friends and buddies are playing in hundreds of other projects with other guys you know. Lots of bands, not so many people. we also have this organization called WCH in Turku. It arranges gigs and tours for different kinds of metal bands. We have been playing in their gigs and we were one of the bands who participated for the Deathkampen 2 - tour in Finland. It was also arranged by WCH. So a big thanx goes to those guys. They have helped us to promote Hateform by letting us play in their gigs.

5. Finnish metal bands are becoming more and more popular through their high quality of music. Which metal bands are in your eyes (ears) the best from Finland nowadays?

Tuomas: In my opinion, Diablo is the band which i like the most. Of course there are other good groups like Pain Confessor and Amoral.

Tomy: The new ones i like are Amoral, Pain Confessor, Mors Principium Est, Torture Killer and bunch of other shit.

Joni: All of the above and also Rotten Sound, Dauntless and for example Insomnium makes my heart nearly stop.

6. Which other bands or metal styles influenced your music?

Tomy: Our music is influenced by Death, Carcass, Arch Enemy, Stone, Pantera and Testament to name a few.

7. What do you hate and love most on this earth?

Tomy: I love playing guitar of course, my family, drinking beer haha and my friends. If you ain't got family and friends, you ain't got shit -Zakk Wylde-

Tuomas: From the bottom of my heart i hate hypocrite and back-stabbing individuals. You know who you are and i know you! For the balance of my hate, i love free days from work, to get wasted, to enjoy good music and of course playing metal! (sober, if it's possible)

8. What news from the band?

Tomy: The band is great, we are going through some new material all the time. The only thing that is bad, is that Ville is out of town working for two months so we only have one guitar at rehearsals but luckily he is coming back in about month. Then we'll concentrate on gigs, hopefully in autumn, after the festivals.

Joni: We are also waiting for responses from media. We have been spreading our promo release to several radio stations, zines, labels, gig organizators and so on. At this moment we are waiting, doing interviews and reading reviews from our band.

9. Plans for the future?

Tomy: To spread the word as much as possible, have a decent record deal and to play gigs, cause they are the fucking cream on top of this cake. Playing in front of a live audience is the best damn thing i know.

Tuomas: Hit the road and hopefully take a studio visit to record our debut album as soon as it's possible.

10. Any special deadly words to the Metalicos readers?

Tomy: Pop a few beers, listen to Hateform and let that fucking wig fly man! Hope to see y'all on the road someday!

Hateform es una nueva banda finlandesa de Death Metal, que tan solo con un promo CD de cuatro canciones(critica en la sección de reseñas), han demostrado que tiene calidad de sobrapara llegar a convertirse en una de las grandes bandas de su país, a continuación les presentamos una pequeña entrevista concedida por tres miembros del grupo Tuomas Vähämaa (batería),Tomy Laisto (Guitarra) y Joni Suodenjärvi Bajo.

1. Cuál fue la principal razón que los llevo a integrar Hateform?

Tomy: La razón principal fue la de querer hacer algo que nos gusta. Crudo, fuerte, agresivo y un poco progresivo pero no tanto. Nosotros tocábamos en una banda llamada Morbid Dream, ero tras un par de incidentes, dejamos de hacer esa banda una realidad

Tuomas: Por largo tiempo estuvimoscansados del hecho de que nada nos complacía al tocar en una banda, había desavenencias sobre el estilo musical, como tocábamos y razones personales.

2. Todos ustedes han tenido alguna experiencia previa en otras bandas?

Tomy: Sí, es decir, nosotros tuvimos a Morbid Dream, Ville(Guitarra) toca también en Insomnium (Talvez los conozcas...) y nuestro cantante Petri tiene una banda llamada Coresh. Además todos hemos participado en otras bandas de garaje y algunos proyectos nada serios.

Joni: Ville y yo tocamos juntos durante muchos años en un grupo llamado Watch Me Fall, así que nos sentimos felices de venir a tocar en Hateform, fue como una especie de reencuentro

3.De que cuidad de Finlandia provienen ustedes?

Tomy: Somos de Turku una ciudad en la costa sur de Finlandia.

4. Existe un buen ambiente para el metal en esa ciudad?

Joni: Sí, eso creo, hay bandas muy promisorias, pero quizás como Turku no es una gran ciudad; a veces sientes como que todos tus amigos y compañeros están tocando en cientos de otros proyectos con otra gente que conoces. Nosotros tenemos una organización llamada WCH. Ellos preparan conciertos y giras de diferentes tipos de bandas de metal. Nosotros hemos participado en esas giras como en el tour Deathkampen 2 alrededor de Finlandia, gracias a ellos hemos podido promocionar a Hateform tocando esos conciertos

5. Varios grupos de metal finlandeses se han vuelto más y más populares debido a su- calidad. Cuales bandas de metal de Finlandia son para ustedes hoy en día las mejores?

Tuomas: En mi opinión Diablo es la agrupación que más nos agrada, claro hay otras buenas bandas como Pain Confessor y Amoral.

Tomy: Las más recientes para mí son Amoral, Pain Confessor, Mors Principium Est, Torture Killer y unas cuantas mierdas más

Joni: Todas las que han mencionado y también Rotten Sound, Dauntless y por ejemplo Insomnium hacen que mi corazón se detenga.

6.Cuales otras bandas los han influenciado?

Tomy: Nuestra música se ha influenciado por Death, Carcass, Arch Enemy, Stone, Pantera y Testament por nombrar solo algunas.

7. Qué les agrada y que les disgusta más de esta tierra?

Tomy: Lo que más me agrada es tocar guitarra, mi familia, tomar cerveza hahaha y mis amigos. Si no tienes familia ni amigos, No tienes ni mierda – Zakk Wylde-

Tuomas: Desde elfondo de mi corazón odio la hipocresía y la gente que te ataca por la espalda. Tu sabes quién eres y yo te conozco. Lo que más me gusta son los días de vacaciones, descansar, escuchar música y lo mejor tocar metal (sobrio si es posible)

8. Que noticias nos pueden dar de la banda?

Tomy: El grupo es grandioso, nosotros estamos creando nuevo material constantemente. Lo único malo es que Ville ha estado dos meses fuera de la cuidad por asuntos de trabajo, así que solo hemos tenido ensayos con una sola guitarra. Pero afortunadamente el vuelve en un mes. Estaremos concentrados en varios concierto, posiblemente durante el otoño iremos a varios festivales.

Joni: Tambiénestamos esperando las reacciones de los medios, al distribuir nuestro promo en varias emisoras de radio, revistas, sellos, organizadores de conciertos y más. En este momento estamos esperando, respondiendo entrevistas y leyendo reseñas del grupo.

9. Planes para el futuro'

Tomy: Darnos a conocer tanto como sea posible, obtener un contrato desente para grabar un disco y tocar conciertos, porque eso esel lustre de este pastel. Tocar enfrente de una audiencia es lo mejor que conozco.
Tuomas: Salir a la calle y esperamos visitar un estudio para grabar nuestro primer disco tan pronto sea posible.

10. Algunas palabras para los lectores de metalicos?

Tomy: Tómense algunas cervezas escuchando Hateform y dejen la peluca volar. Espero vernos en un concierto algún día
