Do you have any idea in which kind of form hate should be shown? Well, at least one theory can be found from an area called Turku. Hateform is a new generation of technical Death Metal mixed up a bit with Progressive Rock elements. This might freak out someone already, but I promise - this is really working straight and clear. Just drop off that prejudiced face of yours and hear me out for a while.

If the powerful entrance song "Retaliate" doesn`t work on you, you`d better try to escape and go cry for mommy. These new big meanies will soon conquer this world wide sand box of Metal music, and they won`t kneel. Starting from "Chains" all this rumble turns the listener`s mind into an euphoric state of bliss. Even though Petri Nyström doesn`t give out any kind of clean vocals, but as if that would matter at all. Why to blow on a small scratch and put a plaster on it, if you just can rip the whole skin off by roaming?

And what are these Progressive Rock elements mentioned before? Well, there are a few catchy melodies, but it`s not just that simple. Somehow all this roaming and blasting have been mixed up with Dream Theater-like guitar solos and other neat psychedelic guitar swinging. Basically guitar team Tomy & Tom`s riffs are just a solid rock, which will crush anything passing by.

"Sky Cries Blood" and "Until We Drown" keep the chariot rushing towards an end. Speed and adrenaline won`t fade anywhere while trying to sit still in this vehicle. The real final curtain "Tongues Spitting Deception" is propably the most well-balanced and most ass kicking Metal track for a while. Especially in this track Hateform leaves behind many Finnish fellow bands as Amoral, Pain Confessor, the early Amorphis etc. I sincerely hope that the name of Hateform will be mentioned in the future when talking about Finnish Death Metal headstones. All what these guys now need is a way to bring their expressions out for a bigger crowd. These guys have brought a fresh breeze upon the Finnish Metal scene and I`m glad!
