If you’re talking about modern thrash nowadays bands like Dew-Scented and Legion of the Damned certainly will be mentioned. In this case, we have also melodic transformations with an outstanding sound clarity and performance. Because my disk is scratched to death for some reason, the latest 2 songs are missing, but gladly enough, their site offers to download these songs, so I could enjoy the thrash/death environment a bit more. And let me tell ya, already on the first song "Chains", Hateform will crush you with loud cymbals and catchy passages. And while these Fins will be beating you with chains, blood from the sky drops on your weakened body during "Sky Cries Blood". The commanding vocals, that have a high Pantera voltage, will make turn you to a slave in a second. Definitely influenced by old sounds, played with modern guitars and hardcore breakdowns, this second demo is like lava, hot and waiting to burn the villages. No wonder Ville from Insomnium left the band, so he could finally be able to sleep, because this is the real sleep disorder-causer right here. It’s a pathway between brutal and melodic woods, it’s a lake crossing the death and thrash metal lands, a flame that burns through standard metal boundaries, a gathering of simplicity and technical capability.

It’s just a matter of time a big label will catch these fishes and bring them abroad. I am very curious to hear and see what more this band has to offer, because this is a stylish form of metal, a source of energy, that people will appreciate whether they listen to hardcore, progressive or melodic death/thrash metal.
